Special Note: Fall 2020 Academic Advising
In an effort to curb the spread of COVID-19, your academic advisors, Sheri Lynn Brown and Theresa Parrish, will be conducting all advising via email or Microsoft Teams throughout fall 2020 semester. They will most often work remotely, but when they are on campus, their office doors will be closed, and they will not meet with students in person.
Your academic success is more important to us now than ever. Please reach out with any and all questions and concerns to:
At the Fay Jones School, you’re more than just a number. Because our program is small, we have the luxury of getting to know you — and that’s important, because our programs are demanding. So come by and get to know our advising staff — Melinda Smith, director of student services, Sheri Lynn Brown, senior academic counselor (advising second- through fifth-year students), and Theresa Parrish, academic counselor (advising first-year students). Michelle Pribbernow, career specialist, is also available for job search and career advising.
From your first day of orientation to your walk across the commencement stage, we’re the source for information on coursework, scholarships, and job and internship opportunities.
For your academic needs
- Email Sheri Lynn Brown or Theresa Parrish for the quickest response to advising questions.
- If your question or concern requires one-on-one time with Sheri Lynn or Theresa, please contact them individually via email.
Advising for all students takes place in October and March. Check your campus email account for specific information on scheduling your advising appointment.
