Donald W. Reynolds Foundation
Steve Anderson is a graduate of the Fay Jones School of Architecture at the University of Arkansas. He maintained a successful architectural practice in Fort Smith, Arkansas for more than 22 years. His practice focused on university athletic and recreational facilities and hospital based wellness centers. He also maintained a specialty in media-based commercial facilities. From 1984 to 1998 Anderson provided architectural and construction management services to the Donrey Media Group, a national privately held media company founded by Donald W. Reynolds.
In 1994, Anderson was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation. In 1998 he closed his architectural practice and became the President of the Donald W. Reynolds Foundation. As president of the Foundation, Anderson has led the staff in developing and implementing the strategic giving programs adopted by the Trustees. During his tenure as President, the Foundation has committed more than $1.45 billion to various charitable organizations and institutions through its philanthropic giving programs.
