Design Camp offers the chance to learn about design through hands-on projects, tours, presentations and discussions led by architecture, landscape architecture and interior design faculty members from the Fay Jones School.
In order to protect the community from the spread of COVID-19, the University of Arkansas has canceled all 2020 summer programs, including all of our Design Camp sessions. We are brainstorming alternate ways to deliver design content. Please watch the Design Camp page and our school’s social media for updates. The University of Arkansas Community Design Center has received more than 200 design awards since 1995.
The Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design was ranked 19th in the nation overall – and eighth among public universities – for 2013 in the annual survey of “America’s Best Architecture and Design Schools" published in the November/December 2012 issue of DesignIntelligence.
The project that renovated Vol Walker Hall and added the Steven L. Anderson Design Center was awarded LEED Gold certification and won a 2018 AIA Honor Award for Architecture.
